New Champion ‘Locke’ Trailer Revealed: A Demon Hunter Following in Vayne’s Footsteps
League of Legends has released ‘Back from the Brink,’ the music trailer for ‘Locke,’ the only new champion arriving in 2026.
In the video, Locke is portrayed as an executioner who has spent his life hunting demons. His latest adversary is his greatest challenge yet: a possessed Vayne. Through the video, Riot Games announced that Locke will head to the Rift on June 24, accompanied by the tagline, “Evil cannot hide.”
Locke is the only new champion confirmed by Riot for this year. He will join Summoner’s Rift with Patch 26.13 on June 24, marking the start of Season 2, Act 2: ‘Pandemonium.’ He follows the previous new champion, Zahen, who joined in November 2025, making this the first new champion release in approximately seven months.
Locke is an AP-based mid-lane assassin. Riot describes him as a champion capable of dealing powerful burst damage once his setup is complete. His primary weapon is the ‘Soul Nails,’ and Riot Games Executive Producer Paul ‘Pabro’ Bellezza remarked that Locke “lives up to his name by launching nails.” This suggests his gameplay may involve throwing nails as projectiles.
The track ‘Back from the Brink’ was composed by Elven Schut, with vocals by Asandisa Siswana and Jolina Ngezana. The music is available on official Riot Games channels. Locke’s official release date is June 24.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
