Tenacious KRX Secures First Win of the Season with Dramatic Comeback
Kiwoom DRX has finally recorded its first win.
In the 2026 League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) regular season Round 1 match held at LoL PARK in Jongno on the 8th, Kiwoom DRX defeated Hanjin Brion 2-1 in a comeback victory. After turning around a highly unfavorable game in the second set following a long battle, Kiwoom DRX went on to win the third set, securing their first victory of the regular season.
In the early game, Hanjin Brion secured a kill and popped the egg of ‘Andil’s’ Anivia during a skirmish between the bottom lane and the dragon pit. Shortly after, ‘Gideon’s’ Kha’zix picked up two kills by taking down ‘Willer’s’ Nocturne. Hanjin Brion continued to build their lead, stacking two dragons and finding more kills in subsequent skirmishes.
Although Kiwoom DRX was in a tough spot, they managed to keep the gold gap narrow by taking the Rift Herald and destroying all tier-one towers. However, Hanjin Brion maintained their advantage by leveraging their fed Kha’zix to secure more kills, eventually winning a one-sided teamfight to secure their third dragon and a Baron buff.
With a 9,000-gold deficit, Kiwoom DRX looked for an opening through aggressive plays. They managed to capitalize on the opponent’s overextension with a brilliant teamfight, gaining significant ground. However, in the following dragon teamfight, Hanjin secured the Dragon Soul, and with a stellar performance from ‘Teddy,’ they won the fight and pushed down the lane to destroy Kiwoom DRX’s Nexus.
In the second game, Hanjin Brion traded one kill for two in an early mid-jungle skirmish, while Kiwoom DRX caught ‘Namgung’s’ Nautilus in the bottom lane. Hanjin Brion then picked up a kill each in the top and bottom lanes. A short while later, a bottom lane fight escalated to include the top and mid laners, which Hanjin Brion won decisively. Hanjin followed this up by taking another Baron.
Kiwoom DRX turned the tide when ‘Ucal’s’ Annie used her movement in the mid lane to bait out Varus’ Flash, catching him out of position to win a massive teamfight. They went on to win the second game after a grueling 47 minutes.
In the third game, Hanjin Brion conceded two dragons but gained a significant advantage in the top lane, setting up for the next dragon teamfight. Kiwoom DRX gave up the next dragon to Hanjin Brion but gained a gold lead by repeatedly taking down the fed Ambessa.
Despite being behind, Kiwoom DRX quickly picked off ‘Teddy’s’ Varus in the mid lane, winning the teamfight to narrow the gold gap and secure their third dragon stack. Kiwoom DRX won the next engagement as well, nearly evening out the gold. Before the next dragon, ‘Ucal’s’ Annie used Flash to target ‘Loki’s’ Yuna, but Hanjin Brion defended well. Kiwoom DRX then initiated a surprise teamfight; although Hanjin Brion was initially pushed back, they eventually won the fight and took the dragon. After a brief stalemate, Hanjin Brion pushed Kiwoom DRX away from the next dragon, bringing the dragon count to a 3:3 tie.
Hanjin Brion seized an opportunity by taking Baron. Kiwoom DRX bought time by catching Aurora during the Baron attempt. Hanjin then picked off Annie and Wukong in the bottom lane and pushed to end the game, but ‘LazyFeel’s’ Kalista successfully defended the base. When the dragon spawned, Kiwoom DRX headed toward it, and Hanjin Brion attempted a backdoor play. This proved to be a mistake, however, as they were repelled, allowing Kiwoom DRX to secure the Dragon Soul.
In the final third game, a fierce teamfight broke out at the first dragon, resulting in a 2:2 kill trade. Another skirmish occurred in the bottom lane where Kiwoom DRX gained a slight edge and secured the first dragon. With two dragon stacks and a clean take on the Rift Herald, Kiwoom DRX set the stage to snowball the game.
Kiwoom remained relentless, never missing an objective. After securing the Dragon Soul and a clean Baron take, they seized control of the game, destroyed Hanjin Brion’s Nexus, and clinched their first win of the season with a thrilling 2:1 comeback.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
